Why is it when it rains it pours.... My lav split hen gonna have to be culled she has a bad infection her skin isnt attached to the muscle anymore ...why you ask?...because of the rooster he ripped her side and all the way down. So hes getting culled to so is the mottled rooster and all the other roosters. Never had roosters ripping hens so bad as i do this batch. So there goes my lavender project. As all i hatched where males and if i got no split hens not worth keeping them

Culled the split lav rooster the mottled rooster and the hen with the infection it smelled awful she had todays egg in her still so now its in my bator along with the other last few eggs. Even after giving away a rooster and culling two I still have 5 males!!!

I am not having good luck with heat lamps... One of my ducks or geese must of stepped on the extention cord and it detached from the power switch that had my heat lamp attached! Urg!!

My bil asked me and my sister if we wanted this cage..i said yes ill take it! Was gonna use it for rats but mhm maybe i could use it for chicks to lol this cage is about $250 new the one i got is almost new lol

Was moving pics to my usb drive and seems to be sluggish like its gonna break so now i gotta move them to another one theres only 31,755 pics of just my poultry from 2011-2022 lol
